Have I posted lately about the boat that I want to buy!?

I know that this is something for the future, but I can't help looking at it frequently. I really like this boat and the company. I would get the Honda 4 stroke engine in order to conserve on fuel. I can't wait to pull a couple of kids waterskiing. I know that will be a blast.

Went to another Horse show with my daughter. She performed well, but the judge didn't place her. Seems like no one from her barn had a good day today. I took video of all of the riders so they can look at it and evaluate their performances. I got very sunburned again. I need to get back in the habit of wearing sunscreen regularly. Not sure why I have been neglecting that area of my health. It is definately worth the effort and really takes only a little time.

What happened to the big storms?

I'm sitting here wondering what happened to all the big, bad weather we were supposed to get this weekend. Bonnie turned into a joke and Charley isn't much more. Rain and wind. Big deal, we get that all the time.

The weekend isn't turning into much of a good time anyway. I feel like a wet blanket. I don't feel like doing anything. We had a birthday party for my 1st son. It's something we said we would do since February, but weather and life kept getting in the way. He had fun and the damage was minimal. It's always nice to get out the big screen and watch a movie... even if it is Cody Banks :-P

Didn't do much today after all the kids left. Stripped some copper wire to take to recycling for $$. The boys always seem to like helping me with that. Could be because they get some of the money...

I'm enjoying an adult beverage and listening to Down To The Bone right now. Good music! Funky, dance music.

My wife went over to my folks house this afternoon and came back with a bunch of pictures of us when we were just married. She asked me what I thought of them and I told her I wondered what ever happened to that girl in those pictures. Probably not the smartest comment, and she can surely say the same...

Grillin' and chillin'

Had some friends over from New York City last night. They are taking a short trip and needed a stop over on the way. I grilled burgers and hotdogs. Good food, good friends. What more can you ask for. I'm so glad they decided to stop in and spend the night. I'm just a little bummed that I had to come in to work this morning before they had even gotten up. Oh well... time to make the donuts. <$1 to the Dunkin' Donuts guy>

I just left a note on the JibJab blog. I was comment eight hundred eighteen on their July 25 entry. Those guys made a terrific parody for this election year. It took a lot of work, but it looks like they may have finally produced something that has gotten the attention of the world. Hope they can turn this into a sound future for themselves. I can't even begin to imagine the cost for the server space they are using for this one. Too bad their others aren't accessible at this time. Hope to watch more soon.
