Haven't posted in a long time!

I actually posted last night from home, but the computer crashed and I lost it all. :-(

I don't really feel like typing it all again...

Typed about my trip to Scranton for the DCA championship and how good the show was.
Saw lots of friends from a messageboard I post on. Ran into some old friends from when I used to march.

My wife is doing well. The baby is due in about a month and we are preparing slowly. Everyone is finally healthy again after lots of them were sick for a day or two. I was spared thankfully.

I'm at work for the second of 4 - 12 hour days. This is the worst shift rotation in the month for me. Just having to deal with all the extra people in the building makes for a lot more work. I prefer nights and weekends because it is much more peaceful.

Getting ready for the Phil Collins concert on September 23rd. Should be a great concert. He has so much music to pick from to play. Hope he plays it all!! A little commentary on his career is listed here on the page for his first solo album (my favorite of the ones I own).

Well, that's about it for now. I think I'll go surf the web a bit and then get back to work.

Been a long time!

Wow! I am so neglectful of this blog. Not like anyone but John has discovered it though...
I have been very busy and I guess that is why no writing in so long.

Let's see...

I went with my sister to a Senior Drum and Bugle Corps show in Scranton last week. It was a really good show with corps from as far away as Japan and California. I would post reviews, but I'm no good at that. Suffice it to say that these kids (and adults) can really play! Definately something everyone should experience.
I met a lot of messageboard aquaintances (DCP) and saw a few old friends from when my sister marched Southwind.

What else...

Work, work, work! Gotta pay the bills. I had a pay review two weeks ago. Apparently I don't play well with others. Nothing new there. I had the same problem in school. I guess I don't have much patience with idiots and lazy workers. If that makes me less of a team player then so be it. The job has to get done and they know that I'm the one to do it. That makes the others nervous and paranoid, so they complain about everything to the boss. He knows the truth, but he still wants me to really work on building the team. I tell you, I'd like to drive some nails in the team. lol! I know that's not the best representation of my faith, so I will try.

The kids are adjusting to school fairly well. The first week was hard, though. Getting back into a routine is a discipline that everyone struggles with, including me. The wife is planning a big party for the little ones since it will just be the three of them for a few weeks. Then it will be the four of them (when the baby comes). My wife is amazing! I don't know how she handles it all. Good thing I have her, or I'd be lost.

Well, that's enough of a chapter for now. I want to post this before I lose it.
