Still working

I'm so glad to have had the last few days off!

I got my taxes done (by a professional - for the first time) yesterday.

Today, I'm filling out the FAFSA online. For those who don't know, this is the form that the government requires so they can tell you what your "contribution" must be for your kids college education. Nice huh!? I'm not quite finished though. Got to go look up a bit of info at the other house.

That's right... we still have both houses. I do all my non-work online stuff at the old house since I'm maintaining an internet connection there. High speed isn't available in the sticks of central Delaware. I'm also getting new laminate floors put down in the den, laundry, 1/2 bath and kitchen this week. We took up the carpet and linoleum which looked terrible. We decided to do the whole area in laminate instead of part carpet, part tile and the rest laminate. It was just easier all around that way. The new floor should add a good bit of value in this softening market.

One of these days I'll get around to downloading some pictures from my camera and posting them here. Sorry to be so bad about that.
